In 2010 the studio was awarded Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40, and the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award. In 2015 Bee Kingdom designed a 35 foot tall inflatable character named the Fabulist for Beakerhead event, a smash-up of art, science, and engineering. Bee Kingdom Glass enjoys travel and collaboration with other artists. The studio has travelled and shown in a variety of galleries, festivals, and museums in cities such as Cheongju, Athens, Turkey, Berlin, and Mexico.
"Calgary has always had a receptive audience to our unique approach to blown glass. The various communities in this city are tightly knit and easily work well with each other always looking for ways to work together. This transcending open-mindedness has made Calgary a comfortable, progressive, and fertile city to grow our practice and audience."
