"While not traditionally thought of as a centre for arts and culture, Calgary has now made waves not only on the Canadian scene, but internationally as well. The National Music Centre has helped put Calgary on the map as a music city, and many incredible musicians, artists, poets, dancers, and others hail from the area as well. Musicians truly are entrepreneurs and have the same challenges in getting their businesses off the ground as any others. There are certainly opportunities to invest in arts and culture in Calgary, and to continue to develop a culturally rich and diverse landscape that we can be proud to call our own."
